this is ordered from newest to oldest not in order of preference. i love them all and could watch them again and again. i love me some riverdale, dynasty, the chilling adventures of sabrina etc etc. but can you really beat the oldies? i should really watch the original dynasty whilst i am on the topic. gossip girl. |
what is gossip girl? the question is - WHO is gossip girl? in a nutshell, it's about a bunch of rich kids living in the upper east side of new york. they go to some fancy private school, where they style up their uniforms, which kinda reminds of that episode of that's so raven - if you know, you know. i'm envious of these teenagers, living like royalty in manhattan but also i'm quite grateful that i haven't had to put up with the amount of traumatic scenes these guys have. so, gossip girl has a website where all the students at constance billard and st judes can check out all the latest drama. quite often GG would feature serena van der woodsen aka "s". i found this such an easy watch and if you haven't seen it, i massively recommend it. whilst it's still on netflix that is. anybody else hate little j? 6 seasons - 121 episodes. |
queens girl - betty suarez, dreamt of being an editor, landed a job working for mode magazine in new york, new york. she begins working as daniel meade's assistant, who isn't very pleased that he hasn't got his usual slutty assistant. mode being a fashion magazine and betty's style not being quite what you would see on the cover (at all). betty faced challenges when it came to her choice of clothing, her perky attitude and constantly getting picked on by mark and amanda. what i love most about ugly betty, each season you watch her grow and become more successful in her career. she develops relationships and friendships. it took me less than two weeks to start and finish re-watching ugly betty and i have no regrets. that final episode though... i kinda wanna know how little justin is getting on, anyone else? 4 (not enough) seasons - 85 episodes. |
until recently, i had never seen a single episode of sex and the city. it was recommended because i seem to love anything based in new york. think it's a sign that i should probably live there. 1998 was when sex and the city started and i was a whole two years old!! so that could be why i have never watched. it ended in 2004 when i was 8 years old, i was always a mature kid but i wouldn't have appreciated discussions about threesomes at that age. it is exactly what it says on the tin, it's about sex AND the city of NY. carrie, potrayed by SJ parker, 5 years on from being one of the witches out of hocus pocus, has a weekly column for the "new york star" called"sex and the city" (if you didn't guess...). i love most about this how it's kinda girl power. i'm sure somebody was inspired by the fashion in this series, not for me. you lost me at the over accessorising. also, i live for the fact that each episode is no more than half an hour long, helped me get through it quicker. 6 seasons - 94 episodes. |
i don't think this needs much of a brief description. basically a group of friends, 3 girls, 3 boys - rachel, monica, phoebe, joey, ross and chandler. living in new york, full of bromance and romance but also bloody hilarious! as soon as you hear the guitar in the intro, you're already up dancing around your living room. SO NO ONE TOLD YOU LIFE WAS GONNA BE THIS WAYYYY *clap clap clap clap*. rachel green's style back in the 90s was everything and more. i ship ross and rachel but not nearly as much as joey and food. if you've not even seen one episode of friends, even a couple of minutes, where have you been?! i wasn't even born when it first aired. SHAME ON YOU. i might have to re-watch this again. tv hasn't been the same. 10 seasons - 236 episodes. |
step three. when you're satisfied that your PB and choice of flour are perfectly blended, pour into a baking tray that is lined with cling film. on this particular occasion i'm using a giant roasting tin because i wanted to feed a small village. make sure the mix is evenly spread out and level and leave to cool, if you're impatient (like me) once it's cooled down a little bit bang it in the freezer. |
step four.when the peanut butter has re-solidified and set. you need to add the best bit - the chocolate! i use dark chocolate, reason being, i don't like it that much so i won't eat as much. the dark chocolate can be quite rich. using the same technique as i did to melt the peanut butter. break up the dark chocolate into a glass bowl and melt over a boiling pan. |
